Mireles Earns June's Top Batter Prize in PAA Thursday, July 1st , 2049 Javier Mireles made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the USPL Double A this past month. The Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas third baseman shined through the month of June and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 22-year-old hit .302 with 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and 21 runs scored. So far this season Mireles is batting .274 with 11 home runs, 44 RBIs and 44 runs scored. He has 49 hits in 179 at-bats, 32 walks and a .380 OBP. Mireles has played in 46 games. |
