Whales Pitching Ravaged by Iovsky Thursday, June 24th , 2049 Olympia shortstop Waylon Iovsky had a day to remember today, 5-for-5 against the Virginia Beach Whales at Virginia Beach Grounds as the Ogres picked up a 13-5 victory. "He was patient up there today," Olympia skipper Steve Ward told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Iovsky has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Waylon Iovsky singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
