No Playoff Berth Coming for St. Petersburg Friday, September 3rd , 2049 While they were already on the outside looking on to the 2049 playoff chase, today the St. Petersburg Thunder have mathematically been eliminated from contention. The Thunder have missed the playoffs 16 times in their 18 years as a USSL Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 10th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2028. St. Petersburg has won the SL AA Championship 4 times in their history. |
