Torres Grabs SAA Best Batter Award for August Wednesday, September 1st , 2049 Andrés Torres may be much younger than other hitters in the USSL Double A, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 23-year-old Crescent City designated hitter hit .375 with 8 home runs, 25 RBIs and 16 runs scored. Looking at his present stats, Torres has compiled a .351 batting average in 55 games with a .421 on-base percentage, while hitting 25 home runs and driving in 59 runs. |
