Hit Parade: Caballero Pops 6 Hits Wednesday, July 28th , 2049 It was a hits blitz for Javier Caballero at Toledo Backyard Park today. The Northville Eclipse center fielder tore into the Toledo Saboteurs for 6 hits in 6 at-bats, but it wasn't enough to win the game. The Saboteurs swept past the Eclipse 9-8 to ruin Caballero's day. "We weren't locating our pitches well," Northville manager Pedro Ángel explained after the game. "Once you get behind in the count, you have to make really good pitches, rather than pretty good pitches, and we weren't able to do that today. Getting 6 hits from Javier was nice but it wasn't enough." Javier Caballero tripled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 11th.
