USSL Double A Picks Top Player Monday, July 12th , 2049 Jesús Sierra burst onto the USSL Double A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie center fielder for Providence garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 25-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .750 (3-for-4) with 2 home runs and 5 RBIs last week. Sierra is hitting at a .286 mark this season. His stats show 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 7 runs scored. He has played 20 games for the Pilgrims. |
