Best Hurler Award Presented by 3AA Thursday, October 7th , 2049 Alfonso Rodríguez of the Asheville Highlanders is in the spotlight today. He was voted the top pitcher in the M3L Double A and will be presented the 2049 Outstanding Pitcher Award. He started 19 times and compiled a 6-1 record with an ERA of 2.17 in 107.2 innings with 90 strikeouts. He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Vic Cox of the Asheville Highlanders finished second in voting, while Clayton Thomas of the Squirrel Hill Pierogis finished third.
