Carroll Grabs 3AA Reliever of the Year Award Monday, October 4th , 2049 Dave Carroll said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 21 years old. But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Westwood Sixshooters rising star has won the M3L Double A Reliever of the Year Award for 2049. He captured the award on the strength of his 1.19 ERA over 30.1 innings. He also had 11 saves in 26 relief appearances, 25 strikeouts and only 10 walks. He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 12. Jimmy McDonald of the Westwood Sixshooters finished second in voting, while José Medina of the Billings Polar Bears finished third.
