Brigg Torches Miners for 5 Hits Wednesday, July 21st , 2049 Alistair Brigg did a number on the Miners in the Billings 5-4 victory today, and the number was 5. The Polar Bears third baseman banged out 5 hits in 8 at-bats at Marquette Stadium to lead his club past the Marquette Miners. "I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Alistair Brigg hit an RBI double in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, singled in the 9th, grounded out in the 11th, doubled in the 13th and hit an RBI double in the 15th.
