Harris Belts 5 Hits Tuesday, July 20th , 2049 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-5 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Lee Harris, it came around today. The 23-year-old shortstop scattered hits all over Marquette Stadium to pace the Billings Polar Bears to a 9-4 victory over the Marquette Miners. Marquette skipper Billy Strauss told reporters in the press room that "Harris deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Harris hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." Lee Harris singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Harris is currently batting .232 with 1 home run and 18 RBIs.
