Wilson Nabs SAAA #1 Pitcher Award Friday, October 1st , 2049 When Iban Wilson takes the mound, a Tortolita victory is usually the result. At least that's the way it was in September. He excelled with a 2-0 mark and a 0.49 ERA in 3 starts, tossed 18.1 innings, fanned 23 and held opposing batters to a .164 average. That's why the Drummers starter was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the USSL Triple A. During his career the 26-year-old Wilson has piled up 241.2 innings. Over that time, he has fanned 230 batters, walked 174 and put up a 4.88 ERA. His lifetime won-lost mark is 15-18 and opposing clubs have hit .240 against him. |
