3 Bombs for Jesús Encarnación

In a powerful performance that left the fans at League Park buzzing, Tortolita Drummers first baseman Jesús Encarnación blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 11-4 win over the Ft. Myers Marlins.
"Everything was clicking," Encarnación told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Encarnación shined brilliantly in the win, with 4 hits in 4 at-bats, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Drummers manager Barrett Abbott said. "Jesús played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Jesús Encarnación hit a two-run home run off Billy Hansen in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Billy Hansen in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off António del Pozo in the 8th.
This year Encarnación is hitting .247 with 8 home runs and 21 RBIs in 33 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .403 with 24 walks and 16 runs scored.
