Bob Holmes Injured, Out for Year Friday, July 2nd , 2049 The Plymouth Rocks were dealt a blow today when third baseman Bob Holmes left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Holmes has suffered a ruptured achilles tendon and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. Holmes is hitting .311 so far this season with 32 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 50 hits including 10 home runs, 10 walks and .360 OBP. |
