Tritons End Kvernoey's Streak Thursday, May 13th , 2049 Gareth Kvernoey's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 24 games today as the Salt Lake City Buzz dropped their contest with the Jersey City Tritons 3-2 at Jersey City Grounds. Kvernoey failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-3. After the game Kvernoey spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. Currently Kvernoey is batting .333 with no home runs and 5 RBIs. |
