Humpbacks Win PL AAA Championship Crown Friday, September 24th , 2049 The Alaskan Humpbacks ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Norfolk Pajaritos 4-2 to win the PL AAA Championship. Alaskan won the series 2-1, capturing the title for the 5th time. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Alaskan manager Kelly Flint. "It's a great feeling." The champs finished the regular season 63-39 and claimed first place in the Premier AAA. In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and starting pitcher Nicky Bogdan said the Humpbacks have "great fans and they deserve this."
