Athletic Club KC Loses Josh Campbell, Will Miss Season Wednesday, August 18th , 2049 Athletic Club KC reliever Josh Campbell could miss the remainder of the season because of a damaged elbow ligament. He exited yesterday's Norfolk game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Campbell would be out 12-13 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." In 7 relief appearances this season, Campbell has no saves. He has 1 win and 1 loss, 11.25 ERA and 12 strikeouts in 12 innings. |
