PAAA Premier Player Picked Monday, August 2nd , 2049 26-year-old Leonard Davis made a few Salt Lake City headlines during this past week as the rookie third baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USPL Triple A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 27 at-bats to put up a .407 average. Davis collected 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 6 runs. This year Davis is batting .307 with 11 home runs. He has scored 18 runs and driven in 22. |
