Thursday, October 7th , 2049
He may have less experience than most of his M3L Triple A peers, but that didn't slow Lorenzo García down at all in 2049.
At the age of 24, the Sunset District center fielder has been named the winner of the M3L Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award.
He had a .381 batting average and a .469 on-base percentage this year. In 69 games he piled up 99 hits, 16 doubles, 14 triples, 13 home runs, 57 RBIs and 60 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 12. Brenton Hale of the Monongahela Monsters finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Henri de Beeld of the Nolensville Knights finished third.
