Golden Cranes Adams Lost for Year
Saturday, June 26th , 2049
Mark Adams of the Golden Cranes just might have to call it quits for the season. The 26-year-old Santa Barbara reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Hamilton Coyotes recently at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. Adams suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. The Golden Cranes medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 12 months.
His stats sheet for the year shows Adams has managed to hold opponents to a .240 average in 5 relief appearances, while putting up 0-0 record with 6 strikeouts and 1 walk in 6.1 innings. He has a 7.11 ERA with no saves.
