3L's Best Rookie Announced Wednesday, November 3rd , 2049 The brightest new star in the Menard's Third League has been named. The 2049 Newcomer of the Year Award has been handed out to Panama City's third baseman Jonathan Boden, who outshined all his first-year peers in the balloting and on the diamond. He hit .354 for the Panama City Piranhas, racking up 157 hits, 13 home runs, 70 RBIs, and 64 runs scored to capture the trophy. Wes Johnston of the Pittsburgh Kingfishers finished second in voting, while Alonso Romo of the Montana Pandas finished third. |
