3L Player of the Week Named Monday, September 13th , 2049 23-year-old Shi-ping Le sent shock waves through Menard's Third League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Menard's Third League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Le made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .750 average, 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 1 home run and 3 runs batted in. Where the D.C. Divided second baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Le certainly made his mark last week. Le is hitting .283 so far this season with 38 RBIs and 31 runs scored. He has 66 hits including 13 home runs, 25 walks and .351 OBP. |
