Rui Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Oakland Tuesday, August 17th , 2049 The Oaks stopped Hsiao-lou Rui's 20-game hitting streak today at Nashville Stadium, but they couldn't stop the Nashville Outlaws, falling by the score of 3-2. Rui didn't get a hit for the first time in weeks, finishing 0-for-6. "It's just as well," Outlaws manager Ben Draus said. "We couldn't spend the whole season going out of our way not to jinx him." In his season totals, Rui has 13 home runs, .351 BA, .418 OBP, 55 RBIs and 44 runs scored. He has played in 79 games. |
