New Orleans-Cape Coral Free-for-All Gets 5-Game Suspensions Tuesday, August 17th , 2049 Both benches got involved in a rowdy fracas during the New Orleans-Cape Coral game at The Voodoo Lounge. The two main culprits have been suspended by the league. The Voodoo Michizane Yamashita and the Hurricanes Govaart van Ankeren were each issued 5-game suspensions for their unsportsmanlike behavior and aggressive actions. This year Yamashita is batting .319 with 98 hits, 22 home runs, 65 RBIs, 24 walks, .365 OBP and has scored 59 runs. van Ankeren has no saves in 16 relief appearances this season with a 6-1 record and 3.09 ERA. |
