Rosário Gets 4-0 Shutout Monday, August 9th , 2049 The Echo Park Lakers were almost helpless today in their 4-0 loss to the Boston Patriots and hurler Luis Rosário. Rosário kept the Lakers confused all game, spinning a 1-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Rosário," Echo Park manager Jordan Calhoun said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 24-year-old left-hander had 2 walks and 12 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Rosário said.
