Premier Player Named by USPL Single A
Thursday, September 23rd , 2049
He may have less experience than most of his USPL Single A peers, but that didn't slow Claudio Ynegas down at all in 2049.

At the age of 20, the Athletic Club KC center fielder has been named the winner of the USPL Single A Outstanding Hitter Award.

He had a .291 batting average and a .339 on-base percentage this year. In 71 games he piled up 88 hits, 14 doubles, 2 triples, 24 home runs, 55 RBIs and 51 runs scored.

"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."

He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10. Armando Alonso of the Myrtle Beach Seahawks finished second in voting, while Manuel Ortíz of the Walla Walla Walleye finished third with 1 first place vote.
