Best PA Reliever Named Monday, September 20th , 2049 Francisco Pacheco was a calming influence out of the Chicago Tula bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 21-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the USPL Single A Reliever of the Year Award for 2049. The Maize, Kansas native won the award with 12 saves in 25 relief appearances, 42 strikeouts in 47.1 innings and a record of 7-2 to go with his 0.95 ERA. He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10. José Hernández of the Laredo Hawks finished second in voting, while Lúcio Colón of the Athletic Club KC U-24 finished third with 1 first place vote.
