PA Star of the Week Named Monday, July 12th , 2049 So far in his young career, Yoshihide Arai has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USPL Single A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Idaho Falls Chukars second baseman hit at a torrid .471 clip as he collected 8 hits in 17 at-bats, 1 home run, 8 RBIs and 2 runs scored. This year Arai has hit 1 home run and posted a .333 batting average. |
