SA Names Best Player Monday, August 23rd , 2049 Grim fans have something to crow about today as Grim second baseman Anastasio Reyes nabbed the USSL Single A Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Reyes. He posted a .458 average (11-for-24) this past week with 1 home run, 3 RBIs, and 11 runs scored. On the year Reyes is hitting .316 with 95 hits, 4 home runs, 25 RBIs, .392 OBP and has scored 57 runs. |
