July's #1 Batter Announced Sunday, August 1st , 2049 Andrés Durán put together a good July to earn the USSL Single A Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Cut Off officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Crawdads first baseman posted a .359 batting average with 3 home runs, 22 RBIs and 14 runs scored. During the current season Durán is batting at a .363 clip with 4 home runs and 28 RBIs. He has played in 36 games and scored 20 times. |
