Anderson, Manatees Shut Out Chiefs, 6-0 Sunday, July 25th , 2049 Lawrence Anderson pitched a strong game at Fuller Park today, blanking the Caldwell Chiefs 6-0. Anderson allowed no runs on 2 hits, totaled 4 strikeouts and gave up 3 walks. Matlacha manager John McGrath said he could tell immediately it was going to be a good game for Anderson. "Right from the start, you could see how economical he was," McGrath said. "He threw a lot of strikes." This season Anderson has compiled a 5-6 mark, 2.49 ERA and made 12 starts.
