Hung Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Thursday, July 30th , 2048 With 3 hits at MSL Ft. Worth Ballpark today, Su-shun Hung added another game to his hitting streak -- the MSL Panama City catcher has now hit safely for 20 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Piranhas today, as they fell, 11-5, to the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," MSL Ft. Worth manager Mike Simpson said later. "I'll let him get 5 hits in 5 at-bats if it means we get a win." Su-shun Hung grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Javier Pérez in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Hung is swinging at a .331 pace on the year with 1 home run, 21 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has played in 36 games. |
