Battery End González's Streak Tuesday, July 21st , 2048 Jesús González's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 23 games today as the MSL Buckhead Bowties dropped their contest with the MSL Charleston Battery 8-4 at MSL Charleston Ballpark. González failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-3. After the game González spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. For the year González has hit .411 with 1 home run, 18 RBIs and scored 33 runs. |
