Cháves Runs Hit String to 25 Straight Games Saturday, July 4th , 2048 Pancho Cháves has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The MSL New Orleans left fielder picked up 5 more today against the MSL Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC and now has a 25-game hitting streak. The Voodoo won the game 13-8. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Pancho Cháves singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far in 2048 Cháves is batting .553 with 1 home run, 22 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 63 hits in 114 at-bats and a .591 OBP. |
