Pitcher of the Year Award Presented by SMSL Thursday, September 17th , 2048 This past season was outstanding for Hamish Mitchell. The MSL Baltimore mound star sizzled with a 5-3 record and captured the prestigious 2048 SMSL Pitcher of the Year Award. The Bullets hurler posted a 3.66 ERA in 16 starts with 64 strikeouts and 9 walks in 71.1 innings. Mitchell limited opposing teams to a .301 batting average. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Joël Durand of the MSL Long Island Lighthouse finished second in voting, while Salvador López of the MSL Montana Pandas finished third.
