Ríos Grabs SMSL Reliever of the Year Award Monday, September 14th , 2048 He may only be 17, but Luis Ríos of the MSL Seattle Rocketeers has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the USSL Mexican Summer League. The reliever was today named the SMSL Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2048. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 4 saves in 22 relief appearances and 39 strikeouts in 37.2 innings. He had a record of 4-1 to go with his 2.63 ERA. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Sae-wan Kim of the MSL Detroit Elite finished second in voting, while Jesús Ochoa of the MSL Colorado Billy Goats finished third.
