Ala''s Hit Streak Soars to 25 Games Tuesday, August 25th , 2048 Nazeem Ala' of the MSL Seattle Rocketeers tagged 1 hit in today's 9-7 loss to the MSL Colorado Billy Goats at MSL Colorado Ballpark to run his hitting streak to 25 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 25-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Nazeem Ala' flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. Ala' is hitting .434 this season with no home runs, 15 RBIs and 27 runs scored. He has 46 hits in 106 at-bats. |
