Hit Streak Now at 30 for Martínez Sunday, August 16th , 2048 The number just keeps getting higher. MSL Pittsburgh second baseman Juan Martínez has now extended his hitting string to 30 games. He did it today with 2 hits in 5 at-bats as the MSL Pittsburgh took the 6-3 win over the MSL Detroit Elite at MSL Pittsburgh Ballpark. "Who knows how long it will go on?" MSL Detroit manager Mark Tillman said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Juan Martínez grounded out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
