5-Hit Game for Hernández Monday, July 13th , 2048 Pedro Hernández exploded for a barrage of base hits today at MSL Buffalo Ballpark. The MSL Long Island center fielder had a field day in the 13-9 triumph over the MSL Buffalo White Walkers, finishing 5-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Hernández must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Pedro Hernández singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, hit a two-run single in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th.
