MSL Greenville's Hernández Wins PMSL Most Valuable Player Award

The future looks extremely bright for José Hernández. At the age of 18, many players are still trying to find their way in USPL Mexican Summer League.
Hernández has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the USPL Mexican Summer League Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .479 this year, that's for sure," the right fielder said.
The MSL Greenville 84s star also put up a .550 on-base percentage this year, with 104 hits, 11 doubles, 1 triple, 7 home runs, 39 RBIs and 55 runs scored.
He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Adrián Vela of the MSL Athletic Club KC U-18 finished second in voting, while Luzvimindo Layug of the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves finished third.
