USPL Mexican Summer League Top Hurler Announced Thursday, September 17th , 2048 This year there was no one better on the mound than Ricardo Sandoval. Posting 2 wins and a 3.63 ERA was only part of the story for the MSL Athletic Club KC superstar. For his outstanding performance in 2048 he was chosen as the USPL Mexican Summer League Pitcher of the Year Award winner. From start to finish Sandoval never let up. In 15 starts he recorded 2 wins and 2 losses, 62 innings, 61 strikeouts, 26 walks, yielded 77 hits, and permitted opposing batters to hit .292 against him. He received 4 first place votes out of a possible 10. Francisco Encarnación of the MSL Boston Patriots finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Chih Hoong of the MSL Athletic Club KC U-18 finished third with 1 first place vote.
