PMSL Top Pitcher Award for August to Phillips Tuesday, September 1st , 2048 August's top hurler was Jeff Phillips of MSL Greenville. He shackled USPL Mexican Summer League hitters the entire month and claimed the Pitcher of the Month award with a sparkling 2-0 mark. The 18-year-old Phillips added 11 strikeouts in 17.2 innings and 4 walks to his season record and compiled a 2.04 ERA. Other clubs hit .300 against him.
