Leviathin End Puente's Streak Tuesday, August 25th , 2048 Juan Puente's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 20 games today as the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids dropped their contest with the MSL Nova Scotia Leviathin 9-7 at MSL Northern Virginia Ballpark. Puente failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-1. After the game Puente spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. For the year Puente is hitting .358 with 3 home runs. His stats include 26 RBI and 28 runs scored. |
