MSL San Mateo Stops Zhang's Hit Streak Wednesday, July 29th , 2048 MSL Athletic Club KC triumphed over MSL San Mateo today, but that was only one of the headlines from the game -- U-18 center fielder Wu Zhang failed to get a hit in the 6-1 win, bringing his 21-game hitting streak to an abrupt end. "I carried the club a few times over the past couple weeks, but today they carried me," he told reporters in his postgame remarks. "No matter what else happens, it is always good to win a ballgame."
