Cajuns End García's Streak Tuesday, May 19th , 2048 Cristián García's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 21 games today as the Franklin Fire dropped their contest with the Crowley Cajuns 6-1 at Lawmen Ballpark. García failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-4. After the game García spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. Looking at his season stats, García has compiled a .314 batting average and a .375 on-base percentage, while hitting no home runs and driving in 2 runs. |
