2048 Pitcher of the Year Award Winner Announced Thursday, September 24th , 2048 Ramón Marte had a terrific 2048 season in the M3L Low A. The Crowley pitching stalwart received the most votes and has been proclaimed this year's Pitcher of the Year Award winner. The Cajuns ace starred with an impressive 13-4 record. In 20 starts, he gave up 74 base hits and struck out 150 in 119 innings with a 2.34 ERA. Opposing teams hit .173 against him. He received 8 first place votes out of a possible 12. Melis Ooyendijk of the Crowley Cajuns finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Will Coleman of the Ballard Beavers finished third.
