Injury Sidelines Jemke Boer for Season Thursday, July 30th , 2048 Jemke Boer has to call it a season. The Surprise Shockers catcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Moose Jaw Canucks and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Boer was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn calf muscle and stated that he would not be able to play for 4-5 months. Boer is hitting at a .208 mark this season. His stats show 3 home runs, 14 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has played 42 games for the Shockers. |
