Shady Side Clinches Wild Card Sunday, September 6th , 2048 The Shady Side Zoomies may not go on to win a SL R Championship, but the team celebrated like they had won a championship tonight after securing a wild card spot. "We were definitely feeling the pressure. To go so late into the season and not know whether you're going to make the playoffs or not, it's intense. That's why you're seeing such an excited reaction," said reliever Martin Lumley. "All our guys I think are just relieved that we made it after all that." It did indeed take a tough battle and with their record at 58-37, the Zoomies will now look to bring the 2nd SL R Championship championship to Shady Side. |
