Shady Side's Shantsev SA- Star of the Week Monday, August 24th , 2048 The votes have been tallied and the winner of the USSL Low A Player of the Week has been named. It was awarded earlier today to Jov Shantsev for his great week at the plate. The Shady Side first baseman took home the trophy by banging out 9 hits in 22 at-bats for a .409 batting average, driving in 10 runs and scoring 6 times. This year Shantsev has batted at a .302 pace with 95 hits, 14 home runs, 48 RBIs and scored 36 times. |
