Twinsburg's Jáquez Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Sunday, August 2nd , 2048 No matter what the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish threw at him today, Jorge Jáquez hit it. He easily handled Puffer Fish pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Tigers to a 9-3 triumph at Dodge Field. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Jáquez's quip, Puffer Fish skipper Wallace James said he "would take him up on that next time." Jorge Jáquez singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Clifton Ladd in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
