Puffer Fish End Benítez's Streak Monday, July 20th , 2048 Juan Benítez's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 20 games today as the Memphis Music dropped their contest with the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish 5-0 at The Stage in Memphis. Benítez failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-4. After the game Benítez spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. So far this year Benítez is hitting .326 with 13 home runs. |
